Hyundai 4000W Petrol 4.0kW / 5kVA Portable Inverter Generator

The HY4500SEi is a compact yet powerful portable inverter generator from Hyundai.

Providing a convenient and cost-effective source of power, this portable generator is perfect for providing power whilst camping or in a caravan away from mains power or for use in a garden workshop.

The HY4500SEI houses the latest Hyundai digital inverter technology designed to cope with the extreme inductive loads applied when using power tools and electric motors with high start-up currents. The LCD display makes it easy to monitor the performance of the generator, displaying voltage, frequency and hour count.


Caravan and Camping Generator

Powered by the Hyundai HY225E 223cc 4-stroke OHV engine, producing a max output of 4000w / 5kVA and continuous power of 3.8KW / 4kVA, the HY4500SEi camping generator is capable of powering microwaves, hair straighteners, air conditioning units, televisions, small air compressors for inflatable beds, electric heaters, power tools, laptops, lights and much more allowing you to take the modern luxuries from home with you wherever you go.

The control panel features a 12v DC battery charging outlet, as well as two 230v sockets for use with any appliance which uses a standard 3-pin 13A UK mains plug. The HY4500SEi is a very quiet generator and based on an average 50% load, the noise level is just 59dB at 7m - around the same noise level as a normal conversation - making it a quiet generator for camping and caravanning.


Portable Generator

The compact symmetrical design of this portable generator makes it easy to store and transport in the back of your car or van.

Weighing 50kg, this - combined with the folding front, moulded rear soft-grip handle and heavy-duty rear wheels - makes transportation easy, even across rough or uneven surfaces.


Sine Wave Output For Sensitive Equipment

Producing a pure sine wave output, it can safely power sensitive electronics without the risk of damaging or overloading them. Starting the generator is simple after connecting the battery and switching ON, simply press the start button on the key fob and the generator will start immediately, there is also a recoil pull-start backup for emergency situations.


Easy To Use Generator

Built to be user-friendly with low maintenance requirements, the HY4500SEi features digital overload protection which will shut the generator down should the load pass the maximum threshold, and low oil shutdown also turns off the generator should the oil levels drop too far.

This petrol inverter generator also comes with 2 remote start keys and 2 manual start keys, allowing you to start your generator without going outside your caravan or motorhome - especially handy if it's raining!

Highly economical, the HY4500SEi has an 'ECO' mode which, when selected, will lower the engine speed to match the load applied to the generator, which in turn increases the fuel economy, lowers the noise produced and extends the lifespan of the engine.

Balgownie Ltd does NOT operate a "Try & Return" policy. Faulty goods should be notified to us as soon as possible. As a rule we do not collect goods from customers unless the fault occurs within the first 30 days, however we can arrange courier collection at your cost. We are under no obligation to accept returns of Non-Faulty goods after the 14 day cooling off period. Please note we are under no obligation to pay for the return of non faulty goods.

Returns of Non-Faulty goods within the 14-day cooling off period will be at the customers expense. Returned goods must be "As New", in complete re-saleable condition, including all manuals and loose items. (Excluding Special Order items, which are non-returnable for any reason.)

Spare Parts: Balgownie Ltd will attempt to source spare parts for customers on occasion. We can only do research with the information given by customers and for that reason Balgownie Ltd will not be held liable for any wrongly supplied parts whatsoever. All parts are researched and supplied on a best endeavours basis. Customers should note that we will do our best to supply parts based on information received. Except in instances of our breach of contract, Balgownie Ltd will not be liable for any return postage costs incurred if the parts turn out to be incorrect based on the customers description. These parts are subject the distance selling regulations, as above.

Swaps: Customers who order incorrect parts and subsequently send them back asking for them to be "swapped" for a different part will be charged carriage at the appropriate rate for the second delivery.

However, whilst you are deciding whether to keep your purchases, you do have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods. Therefore, please do not use or damage the items whilst you inspect them. Do not try them in an environment that might make them dirty (e.g. in the garden). We ask that all packaging is kept for a time until you are satisfied with the item - packing will be essential for any return especially petrol powered products where a courier will not collect any unboxed item. We are unable to provide replacement boxes so please do keep the packaging.

It is your responsibility to fully inspect the item upon delivery before first use, that the item you have purchased is to your satisfaction and therefore fit for purpose. Should you notice a fault or defect with any product or find that there are missing components, please contact us immediately. Any claims for goods damaged on delivery should me made within 48 hours. We are unable to provide replacements for goods claimed to be damaged on delivery outside of this period. Failing to contact us at this early stage could affect your return/warranty entitlements.

Petrol powered machines should not be oiled or fuelled unless you intend to keep the item.

All returns must be returned in a re-saleable condition complete with all original packaging and labels, undamaged and unused. Please do not open any blister-packs unless you intend to keep the item. Should you wish to return a product, it must be in the original undamaged packaging.

Where you have failed to take reasonable care of the goods, whether whilst in your possession or when returning them, we reserve the right to deduct from the total any amounts due by way of compensation to either repair the goods or to cover any loss.

Any items that need to be replaced must be returned to us first before a replacement can be issued.

Customers who use the Royal Mail Collection Service do so at their own cost.

Returning large palletised goods: If for any reason an item that has arrived on a pallet e.g (Lawn Tractor / Ride-on / Dumper/ Cement Mixer) needs to be returned, the item must be placed on the original pallet (or a suitable other pallet) before a collection can be arranged. The customer is responsible for ensuring the goods are suitably palletised for the return. We are not able to provide replacement pallets or assist with re-palletising the product for its return journey. We suggest holding onto the pallet the product came on.

Items delivered or transferred to locations outside of the Mainland UK - we are unable to collect or send warranty replacement items to these locations (including Northern Ireland, Channels Islands). If you require warranty replacement parts you must return the defective item to us at your cost first, and carriage will be payable for the replacement item should it be warranty (or the cost of the item if it is not).
