20V Battery-Powered Grass Trimmer

The HY2187 is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery-powered cordless grass trimmer from Hyundai, ideal for small to medium-sized lawns (up to 2000 sq. ft.).

With a charging time of just 70 minutes, the HY2187 makes maintaining your garden simple and is able to provide an average trimming time of 28 minutes (depending on the operating conditions) - plenty of time to cut your garden and get your lawn looking neat and tidy all from one charge.


Hyundai Cordless Strimmer

With no cables, no petrol, and no pollution, the HY2187 cordless strimmer is powered by a 20V MAX lithium-ion 2Ah battery, which means no more messy fuel or dangerous mains cables for you to have to deal with - simply charge the battery and you’re ready to go.

Lithium-ion technology gives you complete cordless freedom, allowing you to tackle even the most awkward or hard-to-reach areas of your garden without being limited by a power cable.


250mm Cutting Width

With a cutting width of 250mm / 9.8”, this battery grass trimmer is ideal for trimming excess grass around walls, fences, flowerbeds, and pathways that your lawn mower is unable to reach to keep your garden looking neat.

This cordless strimmer’s multi-position trimmer head can be rotated 180 degrees into an edging position for use as a lawn edger for achieving tidy edges on your lawn as well as tackling the most hard-to-reach spots in your garden for a perfect finish.

The HY2187 is comfortable to use and its adjustable telescopic handle, which can be extended up to 96cm, allows you to easily adjust the length of the trimmer to suit your height for optimum comfort and minimal strain whilst in use.

Warranty

All Hyundai garden machinery is covered by a Hyundai 3 year platinum warranty for domestic use (commercial terms differ - please see warranty terms).

NOTE: Genpower Limited are the importers & distributers of HYUNDAI POWER PRODUCTS (UK) 

3 YEAR WARRANTY for all portable power products except:
2 YEAR WARRANTY for Air Compressors, Welders, Robotic Lawnmowers, Power Stations, Jump Starters
2 YEAR WARRANTY for all 1500rpm Diesel Generators, subject to service records and maximum 500h/year.

1 YEAR WARRANTY on all 3000rpm air-cooled diesel products, maximum 1000h, and hot pressure washers.

All inverter generators, and petrol open framed generators have a 3 year warranty, but also limited to a maximum of 1,000 hours use - whichever occurs first.

Products ‘Powered by Hyundai engine’, such as the P1 Power Equipment series, have a 2 year Warranty.

Hyundai portable power products are guaranteed to be free from defects in both material and workmanship for the length of the warranty period from the original date of purchase. This “Warranty” ensures that any defective part
will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Genpower Ltd.

To use the warranty, we require, model number, serial number, proof of purchase and service records if applicable.

Balgownie Ltd does NOT operate a "Try & Return" policy. Faulty goods should be notified to us as soon as possible. As a rule we do not collect goods from customers unless the fault occurs within the first 30 days, however we can arrange courier collection at your cost. We are under no obligation to accept returns of Non-Faulty goods after the 14 day cooling off period. Please note we are under no obligation to pay for the return of non faulty goods.

Returns of Non-Faulty goods within the 14-day cooling off period will be at the customers expense. Returned goods must be "As New", in complete re-saleable condition, including all manuals and loose items. (Excluding Special Order items, which are non-returnable for any reason.)

Spare Parts: Balgownie Ltd will attempt to source spare parts for customers on occasion. We can only do research with the information given by customers and for that reason Balgownie Ltd will not be held liable for any wrongly supplied parts whatsoever. All parts are researched and supplied on a best endeavours basis. Customers should note that we will do our best to supply parts based on information received. Except in instances of our breach of contract, Balgownie Ltd will not be liable for any return postage costs incurred if the parts turn out to be incorrect based on the customers description. These parts are subject the distance selling regulations, as above.

Swaps: Customers who order incorrect parts and subsequently send them back asking for them to be "swapped" for a different part will be charged carriage at the appropriate rate for the second delivery.

RETURNS

However, whilst you are deciding whether to keep your purchases, you do have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods. We ask that all packaging is kept for a time until you are satisfied with the item - packing will be essential for any return especially petrol powered products where a courier will not collect any unboxed item. We are unable to provide replacement boxes so please do keep the packaging.

It is your responsibility to fully inspect the item upon delivery before first use, that the item you have purchased is to your satisfaction and therefore fit for purpose. Should you notice a fault or defect with any product or find that there are missing components, please contact us immediately. Any claims for goods damaged on delivery should me made within 48 hours. We are unable to provide replacements for goods claimed to be damaged on delivery outside of this period. Failing to contact us at this early stage could affect your return/warranty entitlements.

Petrol powered machines should not be oiled or fuelled unless you intend to keep the item.

All returns must be returned in a re-saleable condition complete with all original packaging and labels, undamaged and unused. Please do not open any blister-packs unless you intend to keep the item. Should you wish to return a product, it must be in the original undamaged packaging.

Where you have failed to take reasonable care of the goods, whether whilst in your possession or when returning them, we reserve the right to deduct from the total any amounts due by way of compensation to either repair the goods or to cover any loss.

Any items that need to be replaced must be returned to us first before a replacement can be issued.

Customers who use the Royal Mail Collection Service do so at their own cost.

Returning large palletised goods: If for any reason an item that has arrived on a pallet e.g (Lawn Tractor / Ride-on / Dumper/ Cement Mixer) needs to be returned, the item must be placed on the original pallet (or a suitable other pallet) before a collection can be arranged. The customer is responsible for ensuring the goods are suitably palletised for the return. We are not able to provide replacement pallets or assist with re-palletising the product for its return journey. We suggest holding onto the pallet the product came on.

Items delivered or transferred to locations outside of the Mainland UK - we are unable to collect or send warranty replacement items to these locations (including Northern Ireland, Channels Islands). If you require warranty replacement parts you must return the defective item to us at your cost first, and carriage will be payable for the replacement item should it be warranty (or the cost of the item if it is not).
